The Greedy Goblin

The Greedy Goblin is a 25 minute interactive, handmade puppet show followed by a half an hour workshop on sharing, nature, teamwork and gratitude for Key Stage 1 children.

Pan Ini has performed The Greedy Goblin at schools and festivals. Past festivals include Shambala, Tribe of Doris and Small World.

The Synopsis:

Goblin lives in a forest and is happy with his home. He has plenty of berries and nuts to eat and plenty of space to run, skip and hop. The seasons change and Goblin meets other creatures in the Forest. After seeing their homes Goblin compares their own and becomes jealous. Following jealousy, Goblin becomes greedy and uses more trees than he needs.

Will Goblin learn to give back and share?

The Greedy Goblin is handmade by Pan Ini and is predominantly made from recycled materials. Pan Ini shares tips on how the children can make their own and has also made a colouring in page of the Goblin to be done in the classroom too.
