Joy & Connection

utilising the medicine of presence, play, expression and collaboration.

Community Joy & Connection Workshops are adaptable, inclusive sessions designed to meet the needs of marginalised groups, community events, festivals & participatory activity days.

Perhaps you want to bring in creativity + joy for the wellbeing of participants, want to inspire more connection and unity, find creative tools to combat mental health, encourage expression or simply have a full moment of play and games as a celebration of life and no reason needed!

These workshops create space for:

  • Awareness + presence

  • Finding and trusting your voice

  • Releasing pressure + judgement

  • Exploring truth with kindness and humility

  • Transforming + finding autonomy in our story

  • Rediscovering joy, play + shared humanity

Each workshop is curated collaboratively, responding to the people in the room and context of their circumstances.

Using tools from clowning, applied theatre, creative play, mindfulness & conversation, participants are invited to connect - with themselves and others in ways that feels alive, safe, respectful and empowering.

Alongside bespoke offerings, Joy & Connection workshops are offered monthly in Nottingham to the public for anyone who wants to reconnect, play and feel part of something human and alive. In these challenging times, finding grace, taking care of ourselves and seeking common-unity is where we will find safety and courage.
